36 Weeks & Cankles

36 Weeks

I cannot concentrate... SQUIRREL!... Literally can't finish one thing at time before thinking about the next. My mom took me shipping and I was event staring at the nursing tanks for a good while (God only know where my mind was) before she came up and put her hands on my face and said "Where are you? You okay? Watcha thinking?" haha Is it that obvious?

Boy shorts don't look like boy shorts anymore. Let's just say Steven asked "what are you wearing?" haha

Swelling? I didn't think so until I wore a pair of boot socks that used to fit and after wearing them for less than an hour they were so tight they left marks. Then the other night I looked down and realized... yep, I have cankles! I took a picture to document it:

My back has been cramping like WHOA! Some say its early labor signs, some say its hormones getting my body ready... either way, they are there. I just gotta remember to not sit or stand for too long and it helps!

Waddling. Yep. Straight up waddle time!

Every time I stand up I have to pee. No matter if I just went 10 minutes ago.

Basically ready for Zaiah to come... still have to pack the hospital bag and install the car seat. He can't come until I do those things, right? I should have those completed this weekend! :)

Still love being pregnant though. No complaints! Ill take this pregnancy again and again (let's hope labor goes this well too!)

35 Weeks

This week was the week of trying to get it all together... even though it will never all be done before he comes! :) BUT I was going to try my hardest! This week I took all my couponing, online shopping, ebates, promo codes, and gift carding skills into one major swiping the registry clean day! It was glorious... I wish I could tell you what exactly I did to basically not spend any of my own money and get free gifts along the way but honestly I don't know how I did it.. it was genius and very thought out! It was only fair that I took a picture by the place where it all went down! #reservedforexpectantmoms

No weight gain this week... don't ask me how I did this either... I definitely wasn't trying... maybe thats what I get for shopping too much... no time to gain weight! I still feel great, I mean I feel pregnant don't get me wrong, but very blessed emotionally and physically! I did notice this week that ALOT more people were offering their help - Steven and strangers... I must look bigger and be waddling more than I think! :)

34 Weeks

I forgot to take a weekly picture this week ... whoopsies!

I didn't really have time to take one cause I was peeing 24/7! Not really sure what a good nights sleep is anymore... if I lay on my left side my ears hurt, if I lay on my right side my hips hurt, if I lay on my back my back hurts, and I am up peeing multiple times a night! I used to love sleeping so I guess God is changing my mind to get me ready for near future! :) Started getting Braxton Hicks contractions this week. Up 27.5 lbs.

Here's a great story for ya:

I wanted to go for a walk so Steven agreed to one time around the block. Before walking out the front door I said "do you want to put on shoes, it's dark out there?" He said he would be fine. So about halfway around the block he stepped on a pinecone and screamed and I (of course!) busted out laughing... but then realized my bladder couldn't hold anything so I stopped in the middle of street, crossed my legs, but still couldn't stop laughing. So I tried something else and squatted down and then Steven said "are you going into labor?" and that just made me laugh harder... there was no stopping my pee! I was peeing in the middle of the street! BUT if that isn't bad enough, there was a neighbor that had at the perfect time gone out to get something from her car and saw everything and decided to yell "did you just pee your pants?" Well no denying it after all that so I said "yup, sure did" - she responded with "yea, I got a 2 year old and it still happens!" WELL THATS JUST GREAT! :)

33 Weeks

As crazy as this sounds, I miss going for runs outside. I ask Steven almost every night if I can go for a walk to Walmart across the street and he tells me no every night! The other night I finally asked him why and he said "because you are 8 months pregnant, you are not walking by yourself!" .... okay. I guess that does sound a little ridiculous when you put it that way! ;)

The thing about being a night owl at this stage in pregnancy is that I want to be up doing things but my body shuts down early. It's hard to turn my brain off.

Up 25 lbs.
