Keep Calm & Welcome September

*side note* ever since I was a little girl I would get stressed out every September just cause fall time people start to plan more and I have always had so much going on... birthdays, dances, football/cheerleading, all kinds of school functions and you would think it would have stopped since I got out of school but now I still have birthdays, anniversaries, football, fall gatherings, crafting projects, and at work we have our biggest conference in the fall. So needless to say... being pregnant on top of all of that this year, I had a mental breakdown. I should have known. Next year maybe I will remember this sweet saying from above and brace myself! Special shout out and thank you to my mom who stepped up to the plate and offered to cook Steven and I some dinners throughout the week that she would give me to heat up - it helped SO much and I am truly grateful for her willingness to help!

In my monthly posts in the past I would repost my instagram pics but now I am just going to post the pics from my photo stream... the ones that people (unless you are following this blog) don't see! Just so I can reminisce on everything!

Steven started watching this show called "The Strain." He usually hates scary movies/shows about unrealistic things but for some reason he got sucked in. The funny thing is that he watches it like this... plugging his ears so he can't hear the creepy music.

My girls were asking about Steven's new tattoo and asking if it was a picture of my face and I said "it a picture of the Lion of Judah but yes... a lion that looks like me... like this" - Totally kidding of course! His new tattoo is pretty awesome. It covers his left chest and depicts God as the Lion of Judah!

I read somewhere that you should put colorful pictures of family up in the nursery so the baby has faces to remember and feel comfortable with while in the crib... so we hung these 3 pictures over his crib... his family! :) [we have since then decided to hang something else that I made over his crib and these 3 pictures will accompany more pictures I printed on the other wall in front of his crib... pics to come when I finish this project!]

Yes, yes I do!

Our Walmart puts up these different Coca-Cola sets all the time. I love going into the store to see what they have come up with next. This one was in time for the big rival game in our town... Etowah vs Woodstock! Steven and I live in Etowah district but Austin plays for Woodstock so at the moment we are hearts divided!

I had heard about this thing called The Joy Dare and you are supposed to write down or take pictures of the certain things for each day. So below you will see some but then it became too stressful to remember to do this and some of the ones they wanted you to think of were over my head so I didn't make it all the way through!

JOYDARE: moving. I love everything pictured here. Erica and will moved right across the street, Zaiah moving in my belly, and Steven moving his cute little bubble butt while we take a walk! :)

The 4 of us took Fat Amy to Austin's JV game at Lassiter one night with the doors off. Half way through the game it started to lightening so they called the game. The thunder started rolling in so we got to the jeep in time to get the top on but the doors were sitting dry inside our house... and it started POURING! We all got pretty wet but not as wet as Steven when we were sitting at a stop light and a big truck coming the other way plowed through a puddle and all of the water came flowing in on Steven only! :) haha so fun!

JOYDARE: his word. Love my homemade bible cover, love that my girls want to do Bible study on Wednesday mornings, and love my foot tattoo (2 John 6)

Kiley came in town to attend one of my showers so I invited Erica over and made us some homemade pumpkin spice lattes before we got ready! YUM!

Received our super cute drying rack!

I was challenged to post a Bible verse one day by one of my students! I chose this one to focus on. It has been a great reminder since!

This is Wendi getting people pumped up for the User Conference!

I get these precious pictures of sweet Lily all the time! They melt my heart!

Visiting Mal Pal in Nashville. Love that place!

My view from the Avett Brothers Concert in Nashville at Riverfront!

We got the bumper and first set of sheets for Zaiah's crib!

Check out the baby carrier and baby carrier hoodie I got! Can't wait to snuggle him in there and go for a walk!

The infamous glucose fruit punch drink! No diabetes for me! Thank God!

Super water for the UC14! (yes, that is duck tape!)

Yup.

This was a pic we sent to Erica to taunt her! She loves her some rice krispy treats... from the box, not homemade!

My mom took Steven and I to see GARTH BROOKS! AH! It was awesome! He is my favorite... not a song that I don't love!

The following pictures are of us siblings and our faces when I said "send me the face of Dawn turning 50!" and then I put them together in a card for Dawn!

This is a picture of me walking my new stroller around the neighborhood... yes, babyless! It was so fun! Steven was secretly hoping that someone would stop to see the baby! :)

My cousin, Heather, got me my diaper bag! I am in love!

JOYDARE: yellow. How cute is that owl? It makes me smile every time! Gotta love me some KSU football and sunflowers too!

Group pic at Austin's first home JV Game! #biggestfans

Erica told me to stop what I am doing and take a selfie and send it to her. Here is the pic I sent! :) No idea what she did with it, if anything! I just followed instruction without question!
